When we feel connected - it allows us to co-regulate the nervous system and energy flows in life. If you feel stuck, lost, unfulfilled, don’t know what to do & have no one to talk to, I welcome you to reach out.

With over twenty years of experience as a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, I have addressed a wide range of health concerns, including stress/anxiety, digestive discomfort, joint pain and men’s health. I also spent five years at an integrative cancer clinic outside Chicago, working alongside medical and radiation oncologists and surgeons to promote healing and reduce treatment-related side effects. I was also a certified personal trainer, having competed in several natural (drug-free) bodybuilding competitions, and regularly stress the importance of physical activity in achieving optimal wellness.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Rather than simply recommending natural “remedies” to temporarily treat (or suppress) a symptom, I strive to work with each patient to determine the root cause of their health concerns wherever possible. I work to address those concerns by blending traditional methods with cutting-edge science, allowing the body’s own healing ability to do what it does naturally.

Vanessa works and plays on the traditional, unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples.
Born and raised in Vancouver and trained in Nelson, BC, Vanessa is a trauma-informed acupuncturist with a special focus in pain management, nervous system regulation, mental health, women’s health, and cosmetic acupuncture. She creates a safe space where patients are encouraged to actively participate in their healing. She believes that no healing can happen when our bodies are in a state of flight or flight, and aims to create a space for her patients to decompress into a parasympathetic state of what she calls “acu-bliss”
Inspired by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vanessa sees the body as naturally intelligent, moving through cycles and rhythms like the seasons. Her work is about supporting this innate ability to restore balance, grow, and flourish—helping patients reconnect with their bodies, feel empowered, and experience health in a deeply personal and lasting way.

My own first experience with Reiki early in my life left me knowing this was something I needed to not only practice, but share with others. I’ve been practicing now under the Gendai Reiki Energy tradition for over 10 years. I was later lead to deepen my understanding of the benefits of aromatherapy which lead me to become a Holistic Aromatherapy practitioner. Wanting to understand the body mind connection more, I also dived into Vijnana Yoga, completing 800hrs training. Encompassing all that I have learned, I truly believe I have struck a mind-body-soul balance not only in myself, but in my practice as well.
I believe all the answers for our own personal wellness are within the inner fabrications of the self. My philosophy is that we’re all here to grow, learn, and experience all that life has to offer. Uncovering our deepest truths set us free. I believe tears are medicine. When it comes to working with me, you can always count on receiving truly individual treatments. Never being one to be conventional I may bring forth messages channeled through all forms of spirit. Through my years of experience I provide real, intuitive care fitted to your needs, and wont shy away from tough love because, I know you can handle it. My healing journey and life experiences allow me to be passionate and compassionate to all who seek insight and the work I provide. Though I never take myself too seriously, I will always approach you and your healing journey wholeheartedly.

Growing up in Vancouver, I was passionate about sports and involved in as many as possible.
While my dreams of NFL stardom faded, my interest in helping athletes thrive grew. This led me
to pursue a career in physiotherapy, combining my love of sports with my fascination with health
and medicine. My own experience with sports injuries further solidified this path.
After completing a B.Sc. in Biotechnology at the University of British Columbia/ BCIT, I went half
way across the world to Australia to chase my passion, completing my Doctorate in
Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2015. After nearly a decade of practice, I can
honestly say that I know I made the right choice.
Outside of work, I spend most of my “free” time with my two kids (4 and 1 y/o). But when I’m not
with the family, you can probably catch me playing dodgeball in the Vancouver Dodgeball
League (VDL) or watching football (the dream is faint, but still there!)
My philosophy is simple: Keep rehab simple and effective.
Often we are bombarded with information about convoluted exercises that are meant to
“bulletproof” our bodies or are given a three page handout of stretches to do everyday. As a
physio, even I know that I (probably) wouldn’t do them… so why would I give them to my
patients? Complex doesn’t necessarily mean better.
My treatment often combines the use of manual therapy, simple but effective corrective exercises, and my all time favourite, dry needling! You haven’t
felt your shoulder tension melt away until you’ve tried dry needling for them. However, if you’re
hesitant or curious to learn more, I encourage you to check out my social media accounts on
YouTube and Instagram (@CamWongPhysio)! Although I mention sport injuries, I do love treating other ailments as well including headaches, TMJ, and low back pain just to name a few.
Currently accepting ICBC patients. (Unfortunately, I am not accepting WorkSafe BC claims at
this time.)

I believe that relationships offer unique opportunities for growth, including in the counselling relationship. For this reason I bring my full self to therapy sessions: as we work together, I will let you know what I think and feel. I will truly care about you. I will bring curiosity, softness, and humour, and I will treat you with honesty and integrity.
My work is person-centered, which means that I will follow you where you want to go, and support you to set the agenda for our work together. I believe in feedback-informed treatment, so I will ask for your thoughts on how we are doing, as a way to learn together about what does and doesn’t work for us. Any exercises or skills that I offer, or decisions I make in our sessions, will be with the intention of helping you.
My “home bases” in the counselling world are relational-cultural, existential, and feminist therapies. I am often curious about themes of meaning, isolation, agency, and how social injustices may influence your well being. I specialize in working with adult women, but I welcome all people to work with me.

I was born and raised in the Lower Mainland but spent some time in Calgary, Alberta attending school and playing university hockey, which was a huge part of my identity growing up. Throughout my hockey “career” I recognized I had this underlying passion of helping people. This is where my journey of becoming a counsellor came into play. On my spare time, I enjoy spending it with family, friends and my fur child, Bentley!
A philosophy that I live by is that everyone has the ability and deserves to experience positive change and live their true, authentic, happy selves. However, I recognise this can be much easier said than done, so incorporating self-compassion and patience for yourself is beyond important and very much needed. As Ellen would say “Be kind to one another” and yourself!

Ever since I witnessed the transformative power of naturopathic medicine in people’s lives, I was hooked. Whether it’s persistent infections that have made you learn the names of major antibiotics, bloating that has you changing into sweatpants, or hormone fluctuations that make you question your whole life, know that there may be another path forward for you, and I am here to support you as you take the next step.
Naturopathic Medicine is rooted in treating the whole body, and frankly, I believe most of us have more than one area that is giving us a hard time. My goal is to distill down the situation to what is practical and just makes sense.
Beyond the treatment room, I’m passionate about learning and sharing what I’ve found helpful. You might find me hosting my monthly workshops at Local Health, conducting webinars, or at a used bookstore trying to decide which book I must give up.
My Philosophy:
I credit my dog for teaching me the greatest lesson – time is our most precious resource. We are co-creating our perspective of our life and there is a way to convert what is heavy lead to gold. My goal every day is to see it as a new opportunity, another day to plant a seed of change or protect what needs to grow.

The human experience can feel so messy and painful sometimes, but we don’t have to navigate it alone.
My full name is Loretta Laurin, but you can call me Lo. I was born and raised in the Vancouver area on the traditional lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. My mother is a Chinese immigrant, and my late father was Quebecois (French-Canadian). I love facilitating meaningful experiences for people.
I take a holistic approach to therapy. This involves working together to support all aspects of yourself - thoughts, emotions, relationships, and social/cultural contexts - to come into alignment and harmony. In my 15 years as a mindful movement teacher, including rehabilitative yoga and pilates, I have come to see that our mind-body systems hold inherent wisdom and capacity for healing. In therapy, we can access this inner wisdom to help guide us through some of the darkest challenges.
My own experiences of walking with grief and loss, chronic pain, and trauma have led me to this work. I hope to provide you with a supportive space to not only take the next steps along your healing journey but also to thrive in your life.
It is an honour to walk alongside you.
Therapeutic Training
I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps us understand and appreciate all the various parts of ourselves (such as the inner critic), and bring conflicted parts back into harmony. Additionally, I am a certified Life Coach, offering solutions-focused techniques to help people visualize and work towards their dreams and aspirations when ready.
Couples Counselling
As a relationship counsellor, I welcome and celebrate all relationships, including LGBTQIA2S+, polyamorous, and kink.
I have extensive training in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), which focuses on exploring the root causes of harmful patterns of behaviour and communication, while developing more effective relationship skills and fostering connection. I have also done Level One of the Gottman Method.
My Philosophy
I believe deeply in your innate capacity for healing and transformation. And while the space I hold is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, I also provide inquiry, guidance, and perspective to support your growth.
My philosophy is influenced by somatics, social justice, and attachment theory. Somatic approaches incorporate the wisdom of the body in the therapeutic process. Social justice approaches consider our social and cultural environment, supporting liberation and empowerment. Attachment theory helps us understand how childhood relationship patterns affect how we react to things today and provides the opportunity to heal through new experiences of more secure (safe and loving) relational patterns.
Ultimately, I believe therapy is a creative and relational experience. I tailor my approach to each client, honoring your unique lived experiences and supporting you in cultivating your inner wisdom.
The human experience can feel so messy and painful sometimes, but we don’t have to navigate it al...
