I was born and raised in the Lower Mainland but spent some time in Calgary, Alberta attending school and playing university hockey, which was a huge part of my identity growing up. Throughout my hockey “career” I recognized I had this underlying passion of helping people. This is where my journey of becoming a counsellor came into play. On my spare time, I enjoy spending it with family, friends and my fur child, Bentley!
A philosophy that I live by is that everyone has the ability and deserves to experience positive change and live their true, authentic, happy selves. However, I recognise this can be much easier said than done, so incorporating self-compassion and patience for yourself is beyond important and very much needed. As Ellen would say “Be kind to one another” and yourself!

As a holistic nutritionist and yoga teacher, I am fascinated with the human body’s incredible capacity to heal. I started teaching yoga in 2010 and continue to study different modalities of movement, meditation and healing practices. Personal health struggles reignited my focus on nutrition, leading me to Vancouver where I completed the Natural Nutrition program at CSNN in 2019. I work with an array of nutritional ailments, such as fatigue, chronic constipation, poor digestive function, and stubborn weight by improving digestive health and liver function. I approach each client’s needs in an individualized way to provide customized lifestyle coaching in a comfortable and balanced way.
Philosophy

Today I am inspired by my personal health journey and eastern traditions of healing, as well as the holistic and natural lifestyle of my West Coast home. I am an empathetic listener who strives to reduce barriers and make well being accessible for people of all backgrounds and circumstances. There is no magic pill or short cut to wellbeing, it is more about balance and finding the right combinations for you.

My Philosophy is simple: every person is unique. Every path to healing is unique. Everything shows up for us in the exact right moment.
Every person has capabilities and power beyond what they realize. In today’s society, we’ve become accustomed to settling and accepting the way things are rather than focusing on the exciting possibilities and opportunities that are right in front of us. Using a combination of hypnotherapy and intuitive coaching, I take clients into their subconscious mind to gain a deep and powerful understanding about what’s troubling them and what they may be struggling with. I work with clients to shift their subconcious beliefs and to help them find what motivates them to achieve their goals. I have successfully helped clients quit smoking. Others have found relief from social anxiety, learned to speak up for themselves, put a stop to “people pleasing” behaviour by realizing who they really are and what they want.
If you’re here, you’re ready, and I’m excited to support you every step of the way. Let’s do this together!

Hi, I’m Nat!
My preferred area of practise/approach to body work is addressing and working with the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) - our ‘rest and digest’ autonomic network. Physiologically speaking, our PNS networks are overpowered and outrun by our fight or flight networks- from where I stand, our PNS can use all the help they can get to help bring the body closer to homeostasis. Big sigh.
Sessions will begin by chatting about what inspired the appointment on your end; this will lead to a series of manual assessments.
Assessments will continue through out the session; testing and re-testing areas of concern is typical.
I will engage various structures of the body- fascia, joints, muscle, tendons, chains- through sustained compressions, stretching, traction, joint play & active release in effort to restore mobility and decrease overall held stress.
I also incorporate elements of craniosacral therapy - this approach uses varying degrees of pressure, ranging from extremely superficial to greater depth.

After years of battling addiction, body image issues, food struggles, stress, and anxiety I discovered
the transformative power of holistic nutrition. It’s not just about what you eat but understanding the
‘how’ and ‘why’ behind it all.
I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences with clients, empowering them to make
positive changes that fuel both body and mind. Imagine experiencing better digestion, increased
energy, newfound body confidence, a sense of calm, and a lifted brain fog – these are just some of
the incredible benefits that I experienced.
Beyond nutrition, I believe in the importance of incorporating positive lifestyle choices and intentional
movement into your routine. I work with my clients on their journey towards holistic health and
wellbeing.
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me soaking up the beauty of British Columbia’s
outdoors, strolling with my furry companion, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, indulging
in a good book, watching hockey or baseball, or simply unwinding and relaxing.
My Philosophy
At the heart of my approach lies the belief that one size does not fit all when it comes to wellness. I
understand that every individual is unique, with distinct needs and goals. Together, we’ll build
personalized, attainable objectives tailored to align with your body, mind, and soul.

I believe that relationships offer unique opportunities for growth, including in the counselling relationship. For this reason I bring my full self to therapy sessions: as we work together, I will let you know what I think and feel. I will truly care about you. I will bring curiosity, softness, and humour, and I will treat you with honesty and integrity.
My work is person-centered, which means that I will follow you where you want to go, and support you to set the agenda for our work together. I believe in feedback-informed treatment, so I will ask for your thoughts on how we are doing, as a way to learn together about what does and doesn’t work for us. Any exercises or skills that I offer, or decisions I make in our sessions, will be with the intention of helping you.
My “home bases” in the counselling world are relational-cultural, existential, and feminist therapies. I am often curious about themes of meaning, isolation, agency, and how social injustices may influence your well being. Naturopathic Medicine is rooted in treating the whole body, and frankly, I believe most of us have more than one area that is giving us a hard time. My goal is to distill down the situation to what is practical and just makes sense.
